Help-Veterans.org is a veteran-funded initiative founded in 2014. We publish free, curated resources for veterans and their families. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Not Professional Advice

Nothing on this site is legal, medical, financial, or benefits advice. Our VA Claims Assistant, Claim Timeline, and resource pages are educational tools built from public information. They do not create a representative relationship, and they are no substitute for a VA-accredited representative, a licensed attorney, or your VA provider.

Amazon Links Earn Money for Veterans

Help-Veterans.org is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Our Recommended for Veterans page links to a short, hand-picked list of books and practical items on Amazon. When you buy through one of those links, Amazon pays Help-Veterans.org a commission at no extra cost to you, and that money funds veteran resources. As an Amazon Associate, Help-Veterans.org earns from qualifying purchases.

• 100% of affiliate earnings go to the mission, the same as a donation. We pay no salaries.
• Nobody can pay to be on the list. Picks are chosen for usefulness to veterans, not for commission.
• We never see what you buy or who you are. Amazon reports only aggregate totals to us.
• Nothing on that page is a medical recommendation. Talk to your VA provider about your health.
• Prices, availability, shipping, returns, and customer service are Amazon's, and Amazon's own terms apply once you leave our site.

Donations

Donations are processed by Stripe or sent to our published crypto wallet. They are voluntary and, once made, non-refundable except where required by law. Tax treatment depends on your situation; contact us if you need documentation.

We link to VA.gov, veteran service organizations, crisis lines, Amazon, and other third parties. We verify resources when we list them, but we do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or practices.

Acceptable Use

Use the site for its purpose: finding help. Do not scrape it, attack it, submit false or abusive contact forms, or use it to harm anyone. We may block access to protect the site and the veterans who rely on it.

Content and Trademarks

Site text, tools, and design are owned by Help-Veterans.org unless noted. You may share links freely and quote short passages with attribution. Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Other names belong to their owners; no endorsement is implied.

No Warranty; Limitation of Liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Help-Veterans.org and its volunteers are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site, its tools, or any linked resource or product.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
